YOUR MARATHON JOURNEY STARTS HERE
Hello, Welcome to Twenty Six Point Two
This is me, Sam. I'm the face behind Twenty Six Point Two

About Me
In 2022, I decided to run my first ever marathon. Despite having never run more than 5K many years ago, I had always dreamed of completing a marathon. My son was entered and this now seemed like the perfect time to take on the challenge. My journey was quite literally from Couch to Marathon.

The idea for writing Couch to Marathon began when I was training for that first marathon. I was keen to learn all that I could about running and training for a marathon as a first-timer. Not much of what I found however was aimed at those who can barely run a mile, never mind 26.2! My mind them got wandering thinking maybe I could write about my journey, so that anyone in a similar position could learn from my story. Couch to Marathon was written, and I am delighted to say this is published and now available to buy via Amazon.

Successfully crossing that finish line proves that you don’t have to be a seasoned runner to complete a marathon.

I am excited to say that I am again entered to run London next year and, despite maintaining a certain level of fitness, having not run much I am once again on the journey of zero to marathon.
About Twenty Six Point Two
Running a marathon is so much more than the 26.2 miles on the day, it the journey to get there, the challenge and the personal growth. There is so much to learn in the months leading up to the big day and navigating your way through the training and race day logistics can be a challenge and at times somewhat overwhelming. With that in mind, and knowing how popular marathon running now is, I wanted to build a platform aimed at marathon running, specifically for the first-timer, and Twenty Six Point Two was born!

The aim is to help others with their marathon journey, reach the finish line and importantly also enjoy their big day. The website is still in it's infancy but I shall continue to develop the it with various information and products I hope you will find useful. If you would like to stay updated, as we add resources and products to our page, please sign up to our mailing list and we shall keep you posted.

The road to running 26.2 miles is hard, and has many ups and downs but has such rich rewards, so I hope you find the website some support along your journey.
